How can I view a PDF file in CADE?

The two most popular programs that will open a pdf file for viewing are acroread and xpdf.  From the command line, enter:  acroread filename.pdf

Alternatively, you can right-click the file and choose ‘Open With’ and select the application.  If it’s not listed there, select ‘Other Application’ and enter /usr/local/bin/acroread or /usr/bin/xpdf

What’s the trick to get PDFs to print from CADE?

To print a pdf document, first open the document in your favorite pdf viewer (acroread or xpdf). Using Acroread you may press ‘ctrl-p’ or use the file->print option from the toolbar.
Using xpdf, there is a print button in the lower-right hand corner.
