PCE Domains available for UMail accounts

CADE may shut down our e-mail servers for POP and IMAP at any time but want to give you all time to move your mail to another account and set up the appropriate aliases with uMail.

In preparation for phasing out the PCE e-mail servers, we have worked with UIT and the uMail team to make College domains available for all PCE faculty, staff and student e-mail addresses.
We can modify your uMail alias (typcically some form of your first, middle and last names and/or initials; Fac/Staff have more leeway than do students) and set your account with any of the following domains:

  • @bioen.utah.edu
  • @che.utah.edu
  • @civil.utah.edu
  • @coe.utah.edu
  • @ece.utah.edu
  • @eng.utah.edu
  • @mech.utah.edu
  • @mep.utah.edu
  • @mse.utah.edu

If you’re interested, send an e-mail to support@coe.utah.edu and give us the following information: Full name, uNID, desired alias, which CoE Domain extension you would like and if you’d like the new one set as the Primary alias/Reply-To, or leave it as currently set.

As part of this process, you may set or change your account via the uNID Tools page: https://unid.utah.edu/

Got CADE/CoE e-mail/@eng.utah.edu or @CoEDept.utah.edu account?

We’d like to hear from you, if you use your CADE e-mail account.

These are accounts using CADE’s e-mail servers (imap.eng.utah.edu, pop.eng.utah.edu, mail.eng.utah.edu and mailgate.eng.utah.edu) with accounts of the form username@eng.utah.edu, @ece.utah.edu, @bioeng.utah.edu, @che.utah.edu, @civil.utah.edu, @nuclear.utah.edu or @nanofab.utah.edu and any {@coe.utah.edu, @mech.utah.edu, @mse.utah.edu, and @trafficlab.utah.edu} accounts which are NOT a UMail account alias. We do not serve @cs.utah.edu accounts.

Please send a message to yes@eng.utah.edu and let us know your interest in that account continuing to be provided by the College.
We are aware the University provides UMail accounts for all in the campus community, and we are evaluating the usefulness of this service.

Thanks for your feedback!
